About The Position

A mission-driven nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to improving access, quality, and outcomes for the local community is seeking an experienced Project Corodinator for a temporary, onsite assignment supporting clinic evaluation, audits, and Excel-based compliance tracking across administrative offices and clinic sites. Pay: $35–$38 per hour. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute directly to work that impacts patients, families, and communities every day. In this high-visibility role, you will partner with organizational leaders to help ensure clinics are operating effectively, safely, and in alignment with important healthcare standards. Ideal candidates will work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate closely with leadership to track progress, confirm status updates, and support the timely completion of projects that strengthen community-based care. Experience supporting leadership and prior healthcare experience are strongly preferred. Start Date: Monday 2/23/26 anticipated Length: 4-6 weeks + possibility to extend Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch (8 hours/day) Location : 100% onsite in Novato and clinic sites throughout Marin Background Check: Clear criminal background check required

Requirements

  • Three (3) or more years of relevant administrative experience in a medical setting
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to collect, organize, track, and report information across multiple projects
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, with primary emphasis on Excel
  • Ability to compose clear, professional communications using Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits at administrative departments and clinic sites using established checklists
  • Track organizational and clinic-level action items, goals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Verify progress, completion, and compliance with organizational plans and regulatory preparation activities
  • Enter and report data using Excel and Google Sheets
  • Maintain and update Excel-based project, planning, program, and audit tracking documents
  • Follow up on outstanding tasks and identify gaps or areas needing attention
  • Prepare and distribute reminders, updates, and basic status reports
