As a Project Coordinator supporting the Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering team, you drive operational efficiency, data integrity, and cross-functional coordination. This role blends advanced administrative execution with hands-on project support—requiring strong Excel skills, proactive communication, and a solutions mindset. You’ll keep schedules tight, documentation accurate, vendors aligned, and stakeholders informed so projects stay on track.

  • Admin & Data Ops: Prepare schedules; input, validate, and process data; maintain trackers and dashboards for status, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Compile and analyze stats for department and project reports; surface risks and variances with clear recommendations.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Orchestrate workflows between engineering, vendors, and clients; ensure handoffs and dependencies are clear.
  • Vendor & PO Management: Monitor vendor performance vs. quality standards; serve as primary contact for POs, change orders, and issue resolution.
  • Systems & Records: Retrieve/investigate data from internal systems; maintain up-to-date project documentation, including accounting/property records.
  • Change Control: Track and process change requests and purchase orders accurately and on time.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven improvements to cycle time, throughput, and quality.
  • Stakeholder Updates: Provide concise status reports on timelines, metrics, and deliverables to senior leadership.
  • Note: Duties may evolve based on business and client needs.
  • Excel & Microsoft 365: Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups/index-match, conditional logic, data cleanup), strong Word/PowerPoint/Teams; intermediate SharePoint.
  • Scheduling & Milestones: Proven experience building schedules, tracking dependencies, and driving on-time delivery.
  • Telecom Background: Familiarity with OSP engineering/telecom terminology; experience with client systems (e.g., Infinium, SiteTracker) preferred.
  • Data & Documentation: Experience with databases/data analysis; impeccable attention to detail and version control.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Clear, confident communicator who picks up the phone to resolve issues; effective across vendors and internal teams.
  • Work Style: Organized, adaptable, and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Client/Carrier Systems (Plus): Prior work with Frontier, Lumen, and AT&T systems is a significant advantage.
