Performs administrative and operational duties associated with coordinating assigned projects and related activities within a department. The Project Coordinator, Water Resources, Systems Reliability Division, ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with accuracy and consistency. The candidate should demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external partners. The candidate should have experience supporting complex administrative and operational functions such as procurement processing, payroll coordination, vendor communication, contract management, invoice tracking, and handling confidential personnel-related tasks. The candidate should be proficient in workflow and data-management systems, including Microsoft Office applications, and other related software. Candidate needs to maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and support complex division procurement, fiscal, and operational activities. The candidate should possess strong communication and customer service skills and be able to work effectively with section leadership, field staff, HR partners, fiscal teams, and vendors to help ensure efficient and consistent division operations. The candidate should also be adaptable and professional, able to respond to shifting priorities and support emergency activities such as lift station call management, alarm dispatching, and escalations during storm events or emergency activation incidents. Finally, the candidate should show initiative, contribute to process improvements, and support a positive, collaborative, and solutions-focused team environment aligned with the division’s mission and operational goals.
