About The Position

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Coordinator to join our Environmental Services Global Practice in Englewood, CO. This new role will support project execution, team coordination, and administrative management for a diverse portfolio of environmental and engineering projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in a related field and 8 years experience, Associate Degree in a related field and 10 years experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 11 years experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing professional correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across diverse teams and organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

  • Administrative or project coordination experience in an engineering, environmental or consulting setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and department staff to support project execution and department operations.
  • Assist Project Managers with preparation, review, and tracking of client contracts, subcontracts, and associated documentation.
  • Support the development of proposals, scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules, resumes, and project recordkeeping.
  • Coordinate project setup, maintain documentation updates, and ensure consistency across project databases and reporting systems.
  • Track project milestones, deadlines, and benchmarks; assist in preparing monthly progress reports and action item summaries.
  • Facilitate project quality reviews
  • Assist with project invoicing and financial documentation.
  • Prepare and edit project deliverables, reports, meeting notes, presentations, and data tables using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Manage field equipment inventory, accounting, and check-out procedures.
  • Support staff expense reports and travel logistics.
  • Coordinate required project training programs and maintain compliance records in collaboration with corporate training teams.
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate on-site and off-site meetings, including orientations, stakeholder meetings, and team workshops.
  • Participate in internal office committees and assist with delegated committee responsibilities.
  • Provide front desk and office coverage on a rotating basis, ensuring excellent internal and external client service.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
