The Project Coordinator is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities of varying size and complexity with coordination and direction of the Project Owner as well as providing support for the PMO. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in project coordination, PMP Certification a plus
  • Ability to analyze and propose efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex application issues
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks from events/projects in a demanding work environment
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to develop agendas and documentation of meetings via minutes and action items
  • Self-starter with ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of staff, management, team members, clients and vendors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite especially Outlook and Excel; Smartsheet experience a plus
  • Continuous learner who stays current with advancements in software

Responsibilities

  • Perform project administration according to PMO process for new client conversions, mergers, and acquisitions and coordinate the efforts spanning multiple departments
  • Extensive interactions with product development, systems and programming, client services and /or other cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate a wide range of projects with varying levels of scope and complexity including delivery of outsourced solutions to external clients; or delivery of new or enhanced products and/or services to improve client satisfaction.
  • Document project plans as well as high-level milestones and applicable dates
  • Communicate project information internally and/or with clients (if applicable) via formal (meetings minutes, agenda) and informal (e-mail, phone conversations) in order to keep individuals and teams involved in the project aware of the status and decisions
  • Maintain an appropriate level of industry knowledge including requirements, processes, and procedures.
