About The Position

The Project Coordinator will be a valued member of the Global Product Specifications team, becoming a specialist for one manufacturing facility while cross training to all other manufacturing facilities. This individual will be responsible for reviewing new and revised part requests daily.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a technical discipline
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • CRM Dynamics
  • SAP ERP system
  • Excel/Word
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft TEAMs
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and models.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desire to drive accountability across project teams and cross functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of sterile and flexible packaging design and performance.
  • Knowledge and experience in GMP; knowledge of QSRs, and ISO 13485 desirable.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Review and build new part requests to our manufacturing capabilities and the customer provided specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and models.
  • Review and translate quality agreements into operational standards.
  • Communicate and document standards in the company’s information systems.
  • Examine customer specifications, drawings and samples.
  • Facilitate the internal approval process for customer specifications and maintain records electronically.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Work cross departmentally with Customer Care, Pricing, Graphics, Quality, Engineering, and others.
  • Create and revise engineering masters and internal parts for use in manufacturing and product costing.
  • Establishes new parts accurately in the company’s ERP using established standards, tools, and best practices.
  • Ensure that work order requirements such as processing parameters and specific customer requirements are appropriately communicated and documented in the EM and Work Order.
  • Work within larger team to adjust priorities and ensure that tasks are completed according to set timeline expectations.
  • Attending customer calls as needed to discuss negotiations and requested specifications.
  • Respond as needed to customer complaints through the disciplined application of the company’s CA/PA procedure.
  • Contain potential problems, investigate causes, implement solutions and prevent the problem from recurring.
  • Ensure that approach and results are communicated to the customer.
