The Construction Project Coordinator at JLL will support a regional project management team, focusing on the administration of ongoing and proposed Design and Construction projects for a Financial Services Client. This role emphasizes effective communication, documentation management, and adherence to vendor agreements, ensuring that all project-related activities are organized and executed efficiently.

  • Facilitate effective communication between team members, project stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring all parties are informed of project updates and changes.
  • Maintain project documentation, including requirements, reports, and progress updates, ensuring all documents are accurate, organized, and easily accessible.
  • Ensure adherence to vendor agreements as it relates to contracts, affidavits & lien waivers.
  • Review and process project budgets, vendor proposals/bids, change orders, and invoices within the Project Management financial system and confirm accuracy against the budget and/or contract.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (PREFERRED)
  • 5+ years practical experience in construction or accounting (REQUIRED)
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills & a meticulous attention to detail (REQUIRED)
  • Well-versed in construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results.
  • Ability to think and work independently, demonstrate initiative, and collaborate effectively with multiple individuals on various projects to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with PMWeb is a plus.
  • Interest in the commercial real estate industry, property management, and gaining broad experience in various aspects of Commercial Real Estate.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
