A Day in the Life Project Coordinator II supports manufacturing operations by coordinating events, managing logistics, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth execution of projects and activities. This role works closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Units, Engineering, Facilities, and HR, to deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Provides project or program support to a functional group or business process. Monitors program/project/system status, budgets and timetables. Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures. Gathers and compiles information for reports. Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and coding.

Requirements

  • Requires full job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
  • Requires minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Office Administration or a related field required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service orientation and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience coordinating events, meetings, or logistics is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience supporting cross-functional teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support manufacturing events (e.g., community activities, recognition programs, employee events, and plant celebrations).
  • Assist with logistics for corporate and engineering visits, including scheduling, room reservations, catering, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain inventory of office and manufacturing supplies; process purchase orders as needed.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of communications (e.g., event invites, announcements, recognition updates).
  • Assist with the organization of meetings, including agenda preparation, note-taking, and follow-up on action items.
  • Help manage recurring programs such as recognition events, coffee breaks, and staff celebrations.
  • Provide general administrative support to the manufacturing team, including document preparation, data entry, and maintaining org charts.
  • Collaborate with other coordinators and support teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and activities.
  • Support the coordination of interviews and onboarding logistics for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all assigned activities.
