The successful Project Coordinator assists the project/program manager by conducting, coordinating, and communicating the status of mission support functions related to the assigned project. These functions include, but are not limited to the purchasing, distribution, management, and accounting of project inventory in support of assigned programs. This position serves as the lead for the preparation of purchase orders and receipt of goods to & from vendors and service providers in support of assigned programs. The Project Coordinator also assists with materials and resource planning, staff scheduling, and other duties as assigned by the Project or Program Manager. The Project Coordinator continually develops and improves program-specific procurement and inventory distribution processes, vendor communication and status reporting, tools, documentation, and organization methodologies, and contributes to facilities & warehouse management, logistics oversight, quality control, and operational excellence in all aspects.
