The National Institute for Undersea Vehicle Technology (NIUVT) is an innovative academic, industry and government partnership established to conduct applied research projects at the University of Connecticut and the University of Rhode Island. We provide high-value research outcomes to the Navy through short-term, high-impact research projects in 12 areas of engineering. Under the direction of the UConn Director of the National Institute for Undersea Vehicle Technology (NIUVT) and the NIUVT Associate Director of Operations, this Project Coordinator will support faculty in the planning, organization, and coordination of grant and contract administration requirements for multiple applied research projects to facilitate their successful completion and support future growth. The institute’s operations are high-volume and fast-paced, with opportunities for innovation and growth. We require fastidious attention to detail and adherence to research security requirements related to DOD-controlled unclassified work.
