Here’s what will set you up for success at MGAC: 5+ years project controls management in all phases of the project lifecycle specifically cost management, risk and reporting, with vertical construction projects. Life Science Experience is a plus. Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline. Cost management experience necessary within the construction industry. MEP experience in ground-up construction. Demonstrated experience in the ability to determine corrective actions or recommendations based on facts and figures and critically evaluating information and data from various sources. Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. MGAC’s Cost and Risk team provides white glove service to a diverse group of clients working on some of the largest projects in the Life Science, Luxury Residential and Entertainment sectors with deep industry expertise. We act as owner’s representatives—resolving issues, managing conflicts, and guiding informed decisions to keep projects on track. As a Project Controls Manager at MGAC, you will lead incredible, resume-building, high-visibility projects. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage the full scope of projects while simultaneously managing components of others.
  • Help mentor and lead teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.
  • Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery planning.
  • Achieve and maintain the client’s vision as a trusted partner.
  • Install and manage project controls functions.
  • Identify and secure add-services opportunities.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with clients, A&E professionals, contractors/GCs, vendors, and other teams.
  • Anticipate project and team risks; solve complex challenges and conflicts.
  • Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments.
