Parsons is seeking passionate, skilled, and experienced professionals to join a major program and construction management team that is dedicated to supporting a large government customer in successfully delivering on a significant infrastructure project central to the United States’ border security programs . In our anticipated role, Parsons will provide Owner Agent Construction Management Services including Program Management, Construction Management, Risk Management, Scheduling, Cost Estimating, Progress Reporting, Construction Quality Assurance, Safety, and other supporting services to achieve program success . Project Controls Manager What You'll Be Doing: Support the Sector Finance Lead, including participating in new business gate reviews, preparing strategic summaries of Sector financial information, maintaining forecasts and operating plans, and managing overhead budgets. Actively participate in growth efforts, including critically analyzing key bid financial metrics such as profitability and cash flow, and recommending courses of action for improving such metrics. Utilize historical and forecasted financial information to help drive decision-making and action planning for Sector leadership. Ensure rolling forecasts and operating plans accurately reflect the business’ operational assumptions and prepare accurate mid-period forecasts that reduce the level of variability from actual results. Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of project financial control, including: Interfacing with clients, attending project meetings, and providing financial and statistical reports. Advising project management regarding difficult and complex project financial matters. Ensure timely completion of monthly reporting in accordance with established Parsons’s requirements. Support cash flow management for the Sector, including review of billed and unbilled receivables to ensure accurate cash flow forecasting and achievement of cash flow goals. Recommend and oversee the customization of project control systems to meet specific project requirements. Manage a team of Project Control Analysts who provide financial guidance, direction, and recommendations to project execution teams Demonstrate superior people engagement and management skills, including fostering a culture of high trust, transparent communications and development opportunities, and proactively engage in creating a workforce of diverse thinking, while actively demonstrating the pursuit of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our workforce. Coordinate staffing requirements, assign and supervise project work activities, and train personnel. Plan and complete feedback sessions and performance reviews to facilitate staff development. Support special projects such as: Financial due diligence of potential acquisition candidates. Financial and system integration of acquired businesses. Internal and external audits, including project and system internal audits, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits, DCAA audits, and annual financial statement audits. Recurring and ad hoc financial and statistical reports to support financial management within the business.
