The Project Controls 4 provides advanced project controls support for complex and high-impact projects, ensuring accurate performance tracking, cost management, and schedule execution. This role leads planning, scheduling, and cost engineering activities, provides technical direction to project controls personnel, and analyzes trends to support project leadership in decision-making. As a recognized subject matter expert, the PC4 develops innovative solutions to complex project challenges, contributes to the improvement of processes and standards, and may serve as a Control Account Manager responsible for scope, schedule, budget, and performance tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, with a minimum of 12 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Postgraduate coursework may be expected
  • Expert knowledge of project controls principles, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), cost estimating, cost control, financial reporting, and schedule development
  • Proven experience leading planning, scheduling, and cost engineering activities, including corrective action implementation and performance monitoring
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communicationand organizational skills
  • Ability to work through problems quickly and effectively and define a clear path to resolution

Responsibilities

  • Support andmaintainproject controls systems, including EVMS, to ensureaccurateperformance tracking
  • Perform and oversee cost estimating, cost analysis, cost control, and financial reporting activities
  • Lead planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, and analysis
  • Provide technical direction, oversight, and mentorship to cost engineering and scheduling personnel
  • Analyze complex cost and schedule data,identifytrends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
  • Monitor project performance, implement corrective actions, and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget
  • Prepare, review, and deliver project status reports, including performance metrics and earned value data
  • Serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM) when assigned, responsible for scope, schedule, budget, and performance tracking
  • Contribute as a subject matter expert in project controls to develop processes, tools, and standards for complex projects
