About The Position

The Project Controls Data Specialist will play an important role in supporting Rosendin’s project management teams by managing and analyzing project data with an emphasis upon the data accuracy and auditing of data. This role will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and maintaining project-related information, ensuring accuracy, and providing valuable insights to aid in decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 year of experience in project controls preferred
  • Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience, or equivalent work experience with data
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Understanding of construction life cycle and current delivery methods
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Competent using various project management tools with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

Responsibilities

  • Collect, input, and manage project data in various project controls systems and databases.
  • Generate and maintain project reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist in developing and implementing project controls procedures and best practices based upon data findings.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide data-driven insights and support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to data management and project controls.
  • Document and archive work pursuant with the REI standards.
