About The Position

We're looking for a Project Controls Assistant to join our growing team! In this role, you'll help ensure our projects are set up for success from day one - working closely with project managers and control specialists to keep everything running smoothly. As a Project Controls Assistant, you'll be the go-to support for our project controls team. Your day-to-day will involve setting up new projects in Deltek Vantagepoint, adding phases to existing ones, and making sure billing terms are clearly defined and accurate. You'll help keep everything on track by ensuring project managers submit the right documentation and by stepping in as a backup when needed. You will also assist with project planning and closeout activities, giving you a full view of the project lifecycle. Expect to collaborate regularly with project managers, engineers, and finance teams - communication is key. And of course, you'll handle various data entry tasks to keep our project records sharp and up to date.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in database management or project administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate's degree or bachelor's degree in business administration, project management or a related field.
  • Experience using Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with project controls tools such as scheduling, cost management, and reporting software.
