Project Controls Analyst - Sports Construction
About The Position
AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Project Controls Manager for our sports stadium construction project in Jacksonville, FL. Works with company financial systems and processes. Develops proficiency in the use of company cornerstone systems and provides cost data in formats necessary to control the project. Assists in analyzing and using financial data to identify key project issues. Able to use drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline data Assists in assembling data for trending and forecasting. Prepares analysis of progress trends and cost impact. May participate in reviewing and approving contractor invoices. Collects and analyzes data on manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations. Collects and analyzes data for tracking actual cost to funding limitations. Assists in tracking purchase orders and subcontract commitments and expenditures. Assists with the creation of baseline budgets. Supports the project reporting process as required. Participates in project cost review meetings. Gathers data for procedure development. Requirements
- BA/BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field and 4 years of relevant construction project experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Nice To Haves
- 4 years of experience in project controls, cost analysis, or project finance in construction.
- Construction Project Management experience.
- Experience with construction terminology, contracts, and construction project lifecycle.
- Proficiency with CMiC, P6, MS Project or similar project scheduling/management tools.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex data clearly to non-financial audiences.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
