About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Construction Sr Project Controls Analyst to support a global high-tech client on a large-scale construction program focused on advanced manufacturing facilities. This role will oversee cost, schedule, and risk management functions across complex infrastructure and facility projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or construction estimating.
  • Experience with Power BI required.
  • Proven experience on large, complex construction projects, preferably in semiconductor, high-tech, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, and cloud-based project management tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule with regular on-site presence in Chandler, AZ.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications such as PMP or CCP are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cost control processes including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Manage change orders, contingency drawdowns, and cost variance analysis.
  • Reconcile actual costs with GMP and schedule of values.
  • Oversee invoice processing, accruals, journal entries, and depreciation settlements.
  • Maintain owner cost tracking systems and benchmarking databases.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Track schedule progress in the field and produce earned value and milestone reports.
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure alignment on progress and deliverables.
  • Implement and manage change control processes, including trend logs and impact assessments.
  • Attend and lead cost and risk meetings; maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations on project performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive records including change orders, invoices, lien releases, and closeout documentation.
  • Support development and execution of RFPs, SOWs, and service agreements.
  • Track supplier delivery plans and ensure alignment with project schedules.
  • Coordinate PO closures and ensure compliance with contract terms and financial targets.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and supply chain teams.
  • Lead and mentor junior project controls staff and/or third-party consultants.
  • Foster a safety-first culture and ensure QA/QC standards are upheld.
