Located within the Washington corridor, CGH has worked successfully with Government, Commercial and International sectors, providing management consulting, software development and facilities/infrastructure design, maintenance and program management support of large, complex operational environments and facilities security maintenance. CGH has an exciting opportunity for a Project Control Analyst to join the CGH Team. Purpose: The Project Control Analyst role will participate in the financial planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of a portfolio of task orders and projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination, development, and presentation of the project's financial and schedule status to both internal and external customers. The successful candidate will be able to describe the impact of system changes on the cost and schedule performance baselines. Significant interface will be required with the project manager, contract management staff, project accountants, senior technical personnel, as well as other project teams.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Program Management, Accounting, Computer Science or an appropriate related discipline, and a minimum of eight years Project Controls or related experience
  • Advanced Excel
  • Strong working knowledge of full Microsoft Office Suite
  • U.S. Citizen or person with valid U.S. work visa who has lived in the U.S. for 3 or more years.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the project control field and the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments.
  • Understanding of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, CPAF, CPFF, and hybrid contracts.
  • Full understanding of basic fundamentals and systems and ability to select appropriate course of action in moderate to moderately complex project controls circumstances.
  • Intermediate collection, organization, and interpretation of data, statistics, algebra, and intermediate accounting/finance.
  • Comprehend and communicate complex or technical information at a level to solicit or explain it.
  • Communicate information through written correspondence and reports and tailor communication to audience to the required level of detail and specification.
  • Ability to work across organizations and functional areas.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear and use a computer/keyboard/mouse for several hours on a daily basis.
  • May require occasional light lifting of up to 40 pounds.
  • Candidates selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Implement schedule and financial management policies and procedures in support of assigned projects.
  • Establish and manage cost and schedule baselines.
  • Prepare internal and external reports on the financial and schedule status of assigned task orders and projects.
  • Prepare presentation of financial status and performance in internal quarterly In Process Reviews (IPRs).
  • Prepare financial and schedule status for customer's monthly Project Management Review (PMR).
  • Participate in business proposals, assisting with development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and providing project projections and input into the cost and management volumes.
  • Establish and maintain project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Provide impact of system changes on cost and schedule baselines.
  • Work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables.
  • Assist with risk analysis and mitigation activities.
  • Support working groups as needed.
