About The Position

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) is a Quanta Services, Inc. company (NYSE: PWR). This Contracts Manager position is responsible for assisting with the processing and tracking workflows around customer contracts and subcontracts (including joint ventures) for a large-scale data center project located in Indiana from the initial draft through completion of the project execution phase. The Contracts Manager will be assigned to other projects following the completion of the Indiana project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; related work experience may be substituted.
  • 5+ years of contracts experience in the construction/services industry required, with a focus on contracts and subcontracts management.
  • Experience related to Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects required, and experience in the natural gas generation and/or electric power industries (transmission and distribution) strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with little direction while supporting the needs of the team.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask.
  • Effective time management skills.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Vet potential subcontractors to ensure compliance with Quanta safety, quality, and financial requirements
  • Prepare and lead detailed RFQ’s for subcontracted work
  • Work closely with the field and project management teams to ensure successful delivery of the project.
  • Support project teams by providing guidance on contractual requirements and impacts to project operations.
  • Collaborate with legal and operational leads to drive resolution of contractual disputes.
  • Schedule and coordinate contract-related meetings, assign action items, and track deadlines to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain a comprehensive contract database tracking key terms, deadlines, obligations, and other relevant details.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and tracking customer contracts and subcontracts.
  • Draft notices and negotiate and draft change orders.
  • Track “lessons learned” and assist with the development of trackers for contract management.
  • Review contracts to ensure adherence to risk mitigation requirements.
  • Assist with negotiating any delay and/or cost settlement agreements.
  • Track, organize and save documents in appropriate file locations.
  • Assist with populating contract templates with appropriate project and third-party information and distribute to internal stakeholders and third-party partners for their review and comment.
  • Review and verify terms of certificates of insurance received from subcontractors and other third parties.
  • Review and verify lien waivers and assist with invoicing, as needed.
  • Perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned or requested.
