About The Position

We are currently seeking an Architectural Project Architect / Associate with a minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in our Rochester, NY location. The candidate should have experience in municipal or public-bid project types, and familiarity with Wicks-Law requirements. Experience in judicial or jail design is a plus. This demanding and fast-paced position requires a personable candidate with extensive experience in client service and team leadership. Prior experience working for an Architectural/Engineering Consultant or Municipal firm is required. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to work with interdisciplinary teams, delegate responsibilities and coordinate deadlines. Requirements

Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience
Excellent communication (verbally and written), organization, work planning, and team facilitation skills
Self-Motivated, and ability to work in a team environment
Must be proficient Revit, AutoCAD, and have knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
Strong knowledge of NYS Building Codes and NFPA (ICC codes a plus)
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook; MS Project experience is a plus)
Registered Architect in the State of New York (desirable but not required)
Some travel will be required
Prior experience working for an Architectural/Engineering Consultant or Municipal firm is required
