About The Position

We are representing a National Leader in Industrial Development currently executing a flagship 150MW Hyperscale Data Center conversion in Michigan City. As the firm acts as both the Developer and Lead Contractor, our project teams require high -level administrative support to manage the complex workflows of a Tier III/IV mission -critical build. We are seeking a "tech -native" Project Administrator / Controls Coordinator to serve as the central point of contact for project documentation, subcontractor compliance, and financial tracking. This is a career -track role within a rapidly growing division—ideal for an organized professional who wants to move into Project Management or Project Controls as the firm expands nationally.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Construction Administration, Project Coordination, or Project Controls
  • You must be highly proficient in Procore
  • We value proactive problem -solvers. You should be someone who "chases" answers from subcontractors and vendors rather than waiting for them to call you.
  • Exceptional attention to detail—managing a 150MW site requires a high degree of precision in document naming and filing.
  • This is a 100% on -site role in Michigan City, IN.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Data Centers or Large Industrial projects is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Procore Administration: Act as the "Power User" for the project’s management software. Lead the processing of RFIs, Submittals, and Transmittals to ensure no delays in the field.
  • Document Control: Manage the lifecycle of all technical drawings and specifications, ensuring the site team and subcontractors are always working from the most current 3D renderings and plans.
  • Financial Coordination: Assist the Project Manager with budget tracking, processing subcontractor pay applications, and managing the change order log for a multi -million dollar infrastructure build.
  • Compliance & Onboarding: Oversee subcontractor insurance (COI) tracking, safety documentation, and site -specific onboarding requirements.
  • Reporting: Generate weekly progress reports and dashboards for senior leadership, tracking key performance metrics and schedule milestones.
  • Closeout Management: Lead the collation of O&M manuals, warranties, and as -built drawings to ensure a seamless handover to the tech client.
