About The Position

The Project Accountant will report directly to the Finance Director, US. This position is based in our Waukesha, WI office and operates on a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is required; with a solid understanding of accounting concepts and rules and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a project accountant or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting principles and practices is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with ERP Microsoft Dynamics
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track project budgets, expenditures, and costs in ProCore and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Lead bi-weekly Project Financial Review meetings with Project Managers.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to project performance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing for projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers to review project budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project accounting records.
  • Provide financial support and guidance to project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management policies and procedures as appropriate to work being undertaken.
