The Project Accountant plays a critical role in supporting assigned project management teams by overseeing all financial and administrative processes related to active projects. Acting as the primary financial liaison, this position interfaces regularly with project teams, owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal finance personnel. The Project Accountant ensures accurate job cost tracking, timely and compliant invoicing, proper documentation, and alignment between accounts payable, accounts receivable, and overall project financial status throughout the entire project lifecycle—beginning with project setup and continuing through closeout. This role requires strong construction accounting expertise, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and comfort managing multiple concurrent projects in a deadline‑driven, fast‑paced environment.
