About The Position

The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Project Accountant III to support a large-scale public construction bond program with the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD). As a Project Accountant III, you’ll be the go-to expert for invoice processing, financial reconciliation, and vendor payment coordination , working closely with project teams, contractors, and finance partners. Salary Range: $65K/Year-$75K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with financial systems / ERP tools
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication and teamwork mindset

Responsibilities

  • Serve as SME for invoice processing across the bond program
  • Review, process, and validate invoices per SOPs
  • Partner with project teams on cost tracking and expenditures
  • Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies quickly
  • Support contractor payment analysis and approvals
  • Reconcile financial accounts and escrow statements
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Help improve processes to reduce errors and risk
