Role Summary Primary responsibility is to support the Lead Analyst regarding invoice, tax-exemption, compliance, payments, contract modifications, reports, and other duties related to execution of projects. Additional support to project controls and project management teams, while working with cross-functional teams (legal, purchasing, finance, and accounts payable).

Requirements

  • Strong financial aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor payments.
  • Demonstrated experience with Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) regulations, prevailing wage compliance, and certified payroll reporting.
  • 2-3 years of experience in construction industry is preferred.
  • Experience with working in construction project management and accounting systems is preferred.
  • Results-oriented with proven ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic with commitment to quality and professional work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with review of invoices, payments, and compliance for assigned projects.
  • Manage prevailing wage compliance and certified payroll reporting to ensure strict adherence with Davis-Bacon Regulations.
  • Support all accounting related functions for assigned projects.
  • Assist project teams with questions or needs related to invoices, payments, compliance, and exemptions.
  • Understand and communicate with vendors on compliance requirements for assigned projects.
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and vendor representatives on assigned projects.
  • Perform accurate data entry of information into multiple systems.
  • Collect and track compliance documentation.
  • Process exemption certificate information.
  • Enter and track data in project management systems.
  • Review and track purchase orders.
  • Generate and present reports for assigned projects.
  • Track preliminary notices and collect and approve lien releases.
  • Track insurance certificates.
  • Other related duties as assigned or needed.
