About The Position

Glumac, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking an industry-knowledgeable Project Accountant Administrator with 2- 5+ years of experience in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. In this position, the professional will provide comprehensive administrative support to the accounting and finance team, with a focus on project-related activities and key client support. Working closely with project accountants and the Assistant Controller, responsibilities will include data entry, report review, file management, record keeping, calendaring, and gathering documentation for Time and Materials billing. The role also involves tracking and monitoring overhead timesheet charges, assisting with various administrative tasks, and coordinating the setup of purchase orders (POs) for subconsultants in alignment with project requirements, budgets, and company procurement policies.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage workload independently
  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks from both internal and external clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software such as Bluebeam
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
  • Previous project administration experience in an Architecture, Engineering, or Construction business is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior knowledge and experience with Deltek is highly desired.
