By emphasizing ONE Park, ONE Mission, ONE Team, the Programs and Partnerships Officer builds and maintains strategic partnerships, community programs, and collaborative initiatives that contribute to expanding reach and impact. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and sustaining community and organizational partnerships, executing financial education and outreach programs, representing the credit union in the community. The Programs and Partnerships Officer ensures alignment between external relationships and Park's mission to empower communities, grow membership, and strengthen financial well-being. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Through dedicated, consistent community outreach, develop, grow, maintain, and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations, nonprofits, schools, and Select Employee Groups (SEGs). Seek partners that compliment Park's mission; establish and maintain relationships that support membership growth, brand visibility, and community impact. Work collaboratively and intentionally with Multicultural engagement to coordinate efforts, share information, strengthen relationships and outcomes, etc. Design, coordinate, and deliver financial education and literacy programs for members, prospective members, and community partners to meet their needs. Work directly with representatives to assess educational needs. Ensure delivery of applicable engaging content and track outcomes to measure effectiveness. Maintain certification in financial counseling or education programs as required. Work cross-functionally with internal departments and retail branches to implement programs and outreach efforts utilizing expertise and other resources to strengthen deliverables. Ensure alignment of programs with organizational goals and integrate partner initiatives with Park’s member engagement strategy. Represent the credit union at community events, sponsorships, and volunteer activities. Coordinate Park’s presence at events, ensuring meaningful engagement with attendees and alignment with the organization’s mission and values. Track, measure, and report program and partnership results. Analyze outcomes and provide recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement. Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services through partnership channels and community initiatives. Meet assigned individual and departmental goals that contribute to membership, deposits, and lending growth. Perform other duties as assigned. Performance Measurements: 1. Achieve assigned goals for membership, deposits, and lending tied to partnership initiatives. 7. To keep manager informed regarding key operating issues affecting business development or marketing initiatives. 8. To maintain a professional work environment, promote teamwork, build respect among coworkers and present a businesslike appearance. 9. To follow all security policies and procedures and report discrepancies or suspicious activity to manager immediately. Knowledge and Skills: Experience Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Education (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree). Interpersonal Skills Work frequently involves exercising advanced conflict resolution, giving material presentations, and resolving issues impacting multiple departments or divisions. Role also requires the ability to motivate or influence others as a material part of the role, with a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the role and a high level of interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position. Other Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills including public speaking. Organization skills including time-management are essential. Experience in financial education or nonprofit/community program delivery. Proficient computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Physical Requirements WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
