The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is seeking an experienced, imaginative, and strategic museum professional to join our staff. Our Programs and Outreach Manager position will be responsible for the overall strategic direction of ticketed and free programs and outreach within our Museum, with a focus on fostering engagement with all visitors. The DAR Museum, located in the DAR's Headquarters, collects, preserves, and interprets objects used and created in American homes. Using the lens of the varied interpretations of home, we inspire conversations about the diverse American experience, encouraging people to discover common ground. Our Museum offers a range of programming for all ages, including school programs, Girl Scout events, lectures, and events for the public. A successful candidate will be able to apply their experience to raise the public's awareness of the museum through the expansive use of social media, plan a wide range of activities that highlights the Museum's collection, and use analytics to adjust our programming as needed.
