We are currently seeking a full-time Programming Supervisor for our West Jordan, UT location! The Programming Supervisor is responsible for supporting, monitoring, and executing the day-to-day workloads and projects of the Programming team under the direction of the Programming Manager. This includes tasking team members and prioritizing workload, training and ensuring adherence to department process and procedures to achieve accurate programming fulfillment. Also, the Programming Supervisor will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) that will be responsible for new hire training and other training when process and procedures are updated or changed. The programming Supervisor will report to the Programming Manager.

Requirements

  • Detail Orientation: Distinguishes between “big picture” concepts and comments and specialized, smaller specific facts associated with work; notes the specifics of events and experiences; explains, in general, how details impact end goals or outcomes; ensures that work is completed accurately and with the appropriate level of detail.
  • Report Generation: Generates reports in appropriate format; review reports to ensure accuracy and completeness; identifies issues with report generation (e.g., missing variables, incorrect data, etc.).
  • Solicits and Gathers Information: Demonstrates a working knowledge of techniques for soliciting and gathering information; identifies appropriate sources of information.
  • Solves Programming Problems: Identifies business areas and stakeholders impacted by customer issues; engages appropriate resources to resolve issues; identifies root causes to ensure problems are not repetitive; stays motivated despite difficult circumstances or setbacks.
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Has knowledge and experience working programming projects as a Subject matter Expert (SME).
  • Analyzes a problem by maintaining ownership until a resolution is provided.
  • Good understanding of Programming Monday Board’s.
  • Thorough understanding of AE procedures and policies of other departments and functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills in all situations with internal customers.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized and dependable.
  • Self-motivated and willing to be self-taught.
  • Confident in making decisions.
  • Works well with little or no supervision.
  • The ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Checks programming report data for problems and trends to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for procedure changes.
  • Monitors metrics to measure the performance of all areas.
  • Develops, documents, and executes standard operating procedures for programming.
  • Accountable for the implementation of all new Programming operational initiatives.
  • Conducts operational audits on Programmers to ensure effective operational performance – (In the process of developing for Programming team).
  • Recommends employees' training needs to produce continuous development plans.
  • First point of contact for escalations.
  • Facilitates Daily Team Huddles.
  • Daily engagement with programmers as the SME and support.
  • Weekly meeting with the Programming and Warehouse Manager.
  • Attend meetings with other departments to communicate and resolve potential issues.
  • Assist in reviewing technical documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
