About The Position
DARRAN is looking to fulfill the role of Programmer in its wood machining facility in High Point, NC. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and experienced with CAD technical drawings and able to read, interpret and design CNC programs in AlphaCAM for the multiple CNC onsite.
Requirements
- CAD experience required, Solidworks Experience preferred
- AlphaCam or similar experience required
- Detailed and Quality minded
- Positive attitude
- Good attendance
Responsibilities
- Review products designed in Solidworks by Engineers
- Check drawings to ensure accuracy
- Apply tool paths and program in Alphacam for posts to SCM and Homag CNC’s
- Print Drawings and research concerns by operator as required
- Provide accurate and comprehensive files to the production department
- Manage assigned projects, responsibilities, milestones and deadlines
