We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team in the role of Programme Lead, PBRSG – 12-month Secondment. You will lead large, cross-functional programs focused on risk management, remediation delivery and strategic change execution. This role will drive the end-to-end management of complex initiatives arising from regulatory, operational, technology, non-financial risk and business risk priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating risk and control objectives into executable delivery plans, ensuring effective remediation, strong governance, stakeholder alignment and sustainable outcomes. This role requires a strong blend of program leadership, risk mindset, remediation execution, and senior stakeholder management. Requirements

  • Extensive experience in programme management / programme leadership, preferably within financial services, banking, or a highly regulated environment
  • Strong experience leading risk remediation, regulatory change, audit issue closure, or control enhancement programs
  • Solid understanding of risk management frameworks, operational risk, non-financial risk, and business risk
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex, cross-functional programmes with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of programme governance, reporting, issue/risk management, dependency management, and change delivery disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, enterprise-wide programmes with a focus on risk remediation, control enhancement and business transformation.
  • Establish and maintain robust programme governance, including steering committees, status reporting, RAID management, and escalation frameworks
  • Partner with first line, second line, and relevant control functions to ensure remediation actions are appropriately designed, tracked, and delivered
  • Assess risks, issues, control gaps, and root causes, and translate these into actionable remediation plans
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify business risk implications and ensure mitigation plans are embedded into programme delivery
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders across business, risk, compliance, technology, operations, audit and executive leadership
  • Prepare high-quality materials for governance forums, leadership updates and executive decision-making
