Responsibilities

  • Overseeing our vendor performance, vendor roadmap, successful product/process launches, system design and enhancements.
  • Strategize with the Breezeline Mobile agile squad to develop product enhancements that improve operational performance, subscriber growth, and churn metrics.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (internally and externally), including product development, sales, customer care, technical operation, and marketing, to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of products and services to our customers.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with telecom vendors, service providers, and contractors, ensuring they deliver as per agreements.
  • Program/Product Leadership: Oversee the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of wireless telecom programs, ensuring alignment with business goals. Utilizing Agile Business processes.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Utilize squad resources to monitor OPEX/CAPEX/Integration costs and work with finance to ensure long term achievement and visibility of metrics. Includes weekly reporting of operational metrics, progress, and activities.
  • Project Coordination: Manage multiple projects within the program, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This includes coordinating between cross-functional teams like engineering, network operations, and customer service.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including internal teams, external vendors, and sometimes clients. This involves managing expectations, reporting on progress, and facilitating communication.
  • Risk/Fraud Management: Identify potential risks with internal stakeholders to program, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risk throughout the lifecycle of the program.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects within the program meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This includes overseeing testing phases and ensuring compliance with telecom standards.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) are often preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in program or project management within the telecommunications industry, with a focus on wireless systems.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects or programs.
  • Previous experience in telecom start ups, new market entry, and/or business transformation/ M&A integration.
  • Product management and strong history of P&L management preferred.
  • Strong understanding of telecom systems, particularly wireless technologies.
  • Excellent project management, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in project management software tools. (Jira)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with network architecture, radio frequency (RF) engineering, 5G, LTE, and other emerging wireless technologies.
