The Exchange Program: Integrating Emerging and Innovative Technology in the English Language Classroom is a two-week professional development program hosted by the Intensive English Communication Program (IECP) and co-hosted by the Center for Language Acquisition (CLA) at Penn State. The program brings together international English language educators to explore ethical, context-responsive approaches to technology integration, dialogic and inquiry-based pedagogy, and open educational resource (OER) development. Activities include academic workshops, collaborative studio sessions, site visits, and a culminating Capstone Symposium and ELT Conference/Networking Day. Position Summary: Program Support staff provide instructional, logistical, and operational support for program activities. This role is participant-facing and requires active engagement during workshops, studio sessions, site visits, and program events. Staff work collaboratively with program leadership to ensure smooth delivery of programming, support participant engagement, and maintain a responsive learning environment. This is a temporary position from the dates of May 4 to June 30, 2026. Hours and Appointment: Up to 72 total hours per position; Part-time, non-benefits-eligible position; Hours scheduled based on program needs. This position pays $30/hour.
