About The Position

The NCWCP Tenant Services Coordinator (TSC) provides support to NCEP Office of the Director, the lead tenant responsible for coordinating day-to-day building operations and activities that impact 850+ tenants from three NOAA line offices, including NWS/NCEP, NESDIS and OAR. The primary duties of the TSC are to assist NCEP with: Scheduling and facilitating monthly Tenant Board meetings -- recording outcomes, tracking action items and maintaining an online archive of related documentation. Conference Center and Auditorium event planning and coordination. Science on the Sphere calendar management. Track and manage chair repair requests, including coordinating repair activities and processing orders for replacement parts. Ensuring tenant issues and needs are responded to and resolved by the appropriate individual or group. Developing the annual building spend plan and tracking the status of execution to plan. Preparing credit card packages for approved NCWCP expenditures. Reviewing for completeness and tracking the status of all GSA Reimbursable Work Authorizations (RWA) packages. Administration of vendor service contracts, development of Statements of Work and/or reviewing vendor quotes and proposals. Responding to NOAA data calls regarding facility operations and maintenance plans and associated costs. Keeping the NCWCP tenant website up-to-date. Coordinating the High School Career Days. Coordinating the College Career Days. Track NCWCP Maintenance. Coordinate NCWCP tours.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work independently to execute against a set of requirements.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot independently to resolution.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, 2 of which must be in a supervisory role,
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Motivated and flexible attitude with a strong ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technical skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge to enter the applicable government facility
