The Air Quality Bureau is seeking a Program Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-level administrative and program support that keeps our Bureau running smoothly and ensures clear, accurate, and well-prepared information is shared with the public and our partners. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • One year of experience performing a variety of office support or clerical work.
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products required.
  • Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, formatting, and editing a wide range of Bureau documents, including correspondence, reports, notices, and web content.
  • Managing information requests and supporting communications by providing accurate guidance on air quality related inquiries.
  • Maintaining and updating Bureau website content to ensure clarity, consistency, and public accessibility.
  • Supporting database and records management, including organizing, tracking, and retrieving information efficiently.
  • Performing essential administrative functions such as proofing materials, processing mail, filing legal notices, assisting visitors, and managing the Bureau's main phone lines.
