About The Position

To assist the Residential Director with Crittenton’s signature residential programs, supervision of Residential and Direct Care staff, and client advocacy and support. The Program Supervisor will assist the Residential Director to help carry out the agency’s residential programming, provide support to full-time direct care staff & supervise part-time and PRN (as-needed) Direct Care staff, and supervise and support clients in all programs. Key responsibilities include monthly staff schedules, conducting weekly medication audits, addressing medication errors, and ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed, client-centered care aligned with Crittenton’s mission and values. By keeping client interests first, the Program Supervisor will help move Crittenton’s programs toward excellent, measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience in human services programming, staff development, supervision and performance evaluation, positive behavior management, and crisis intervention skills.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work the above schedule and rotate on-call periods.
  • Must have valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Knowledge of appropriate behavior intervention strategies.
  • Ability to understand behavioral situations and react accordingly.
  • Ability to be understanding and sensitive to the unique needs and circumstances of our client population.
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction to all levels of residential staff.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team.
  • Must be CPR certified within 30 days of hire.

  • Bachelor’s in Social Work AND at least three years of residential care experience with at least one year in a supervisory role with responsibility for staff selection, performance coaching and evaluation, training, and discipline.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in H uman Services or related field AND at least four years of residential care experience with at least one year in a supervisory role with responsibility for staff selection, performance coaching and evaluation, training, and discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Residential Director in managing and ensuring quality assurance for Crittenton’s residential programs.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Services team to maintain and improve program effectiveness.
  • Ensure all practices are trauma-informed and align with Crittenton’s mission and values.
  • Participates in weekly Treatment Team clinical meetings to assist in development, implementation, and revision of individual treatment plans.
  • Ensures clients follow program guidelines, rules, and regulations.
  • Transports clients and their children in agency vehicles.
  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to part-time and PRN Direct Care staff including scheduling, one-on-one supervision, performance evaluation, coaching, training, and discipline.
  • Conduct monthly scheduling for full-time and PRN staff to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Promote a supportive and collaborative team environment in alignment with trauma-informed care principles.
  • Meet weekly with the Residential Director to review program updates, staff performance, and relevant issues.
  • Provide a detailed weekly update to the Residential Director at the close of the Sunday shift.
  • Participates in interview and selection process for Residential and Direct Care Team vacancies.
  • Conduct regular medication audits to ensure compliance with medication administration protocols.
  • Follow up on and address any medication errors, implementing corrective actions and providing training as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records related to medication audits and follow-up actions.
  • Regularly review shift notes and medical administration records to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Address incomplete documentation with staff, providing additional training or guidance as needed.
  • Work 11am – 7pm on a rotating schedule: week 1: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday week 2: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
  • Respond to urgent situations, staff needs, and client issues outside standard hours as necessary.
  • Alongside the Residential Director and Social Work Supervisor, provide 24/7 on-call support to the Residential and Direct Care Teams on an alternating basis.
  • Responsible for conducting monthly fire evacuations and safety drills for the entire agency.
  • Participates in a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education activities annually.
  • Attend cross-organizational team meetings as appropriate and meet regularly with supervisor to exchange pertinent information and receive supervision.
  • Maintains professional ethics as outlined in the NASW code of ethics.
  • Other duties as assigned.
