About The Position

IDD Residential has a long tenured team of supervisors and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). It is an enjoyable work environment. This position will supervise between 12-25 DSPs. The clients served are typically 3 per home, however, they can also range from 1 to 5 person homes. This Program Supervisor position requires flexibility with schedule and requires on-call responsibilities for 1 week every 5 weeks. The Program Supervisor must be able to travel between two to three different work locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field with a minimum of 3 year’s experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Clinical experience in a behavioral health setting with knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, family, individual and group treatment.
  • A COPY OF YOUR BACHELOR LEVEL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR CONSIDERATION
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
  • Driver's License
  • Act 34
  • OAPSA

Nice To Haves

  • At least two years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions in coordination with Human Resources.
  • Interview candidates and collaborate with HR to screen and select staff
  • Define and evaluate annual strategic goals aligned with the service line’s mission.
  • Ensure compliance with program, institute, and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Develop and monitor outcome measures to demonstrate program effectiveness.
  • Conduct timely individual performance evaluations for staff
  • Oversee and coordinate all daily program operations, including clinical and administrative functions.
  • Monitor and manage all active and incoming cases across program services
  • Supervise staff onboarding, orientation, and required ongoing training
  • Assess prior-year program goals to inform strategic planning for the upcoming fiscal year
  • Provide regular clinical and administrative supervision to program staff.
  • Oversee the completion and flow of clinical documentation.
  • Coordinate and deliver group training and individual supervision for staff
  • Participate in internal and external meetings as required
  • Monitor program productivity and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and expand services to meet target population needs.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain the program within the approved budget.
