About The Position

The Program Supervisor provides leadership and direct supervision to staff supporting participants with histories of homelessness, psychiatric diagnoses, trauma, and/or addiction. Promote strengths-based, person-centered recovery through training, modeling, and oversight. Ensure the coordination and quality of services, compliance with agency and regulatory standards, and smooth day-to-day program operations. About the Division of Recovery Services (DRS) The Division of Recovery Services (DRS) supports individuals of all ages navigating mental health and substance use challenges. Our youth residential programs provide a safe, structured environment for adolescents involved with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to address behavioral health needs. For adults, DRS offers residential and outreach support for those in recovery or living with addiction, including many with co-occurring mental health concerns. Through compassionate, trauma-informed care, we help individuals build coping skills, restore stability, and work toward long-term recovery and wellness. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, acceptable driving record, and sufficient insurance
  • Competency in documentation and electronic health records
  • Certifications in MAP, CPR, and First Aid (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals affected by homelessness, psychiatric diagnoses, trauma, and/or addiction
  • College degree or at least 4 years of progressively responsible related experience
  • Must maintain certification in MAP, CPR, and First Aid

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in residential or community-based settings preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support residential staff through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Promote person-centered, trauma-informed care while supporting resident health, wellness, and independence.
  • Facilitate communication among team members and external providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Oversee program documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with standards.
  • Manage staff scheduling, coverage, and attendance to maintain smooth program operations.
  • Respond to psychiatric or medical emergencies, participate in on-call rotation, and report incidents as required.
  • Complete administrative tasks including reports, timesheets, audits, and basic budget oversight.
  • Support participant growth through community integration, daily living skills, and coordination of services, while ensuring program safety and compliance.
