Get to know Thompson! Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Thompson’s continuum of care encompasses three domains: prevention, mental health services, and foster care. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. Our values are Excellence, Innovation, Commitment, Caring and Integrity. What will you do as a High-Fidelity Wraparound Program Supervisor? As the High-Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) Coach and Program Supervisor for Thompson’s North Carolina Mental Health Unit, you will provide guidance, consultation, and instructional support to HFW team members, enabling them to develop the competencies required to deliver the HFW model with integrity. You will oversee team performance, ensuring adherence to program standards and delivery of high-quality services to youth and families. Compliance with state, agency, and HFW program requirements will be maintained under your supervision. Staff development will be advanced through structured Professional Development Plans, regular supervision, effective meeting leadership, and timely responses to emergent situations. In this role, daily responsibilities include managing referrals, overseeing budgets, reviewing key performance indicators, and supporting the documentation process to maintain alignment with the HFW framework. You will regularly collaborate with the UNCG HFW Training Program Implementation Specialist to pursue coach credentialing and monitor the fidelity of Thompson’s HFW team. Engagement with community partners and stakeholders is integral, encompassing participation in community events, Systems of Care HFW data collection initiatives, and ongoing collaborative meetings. Supervision duties entail maintaining clear communication with both internal leadership and external organizations, as well as developing innovative strategies to expand the HFW program in Mecklenburg County and neighboring counties such as Cabarrus, Stanly, and Union. The position may also involve carrying a caseload for two HFW families alongside supervisory responsibilities. Excellence in this role requires a high degree of accountability, responsiveness, and adaptability. Prompt action in support of youth, families, and staff may be necessary, including providing direction and assistance beyond standard business hours to ensure consistent and quality program operations.
