About The Position

The PuroPREP PLUS program equips youth with the relational knowledge, skills, and tools to help them successfully transition to adulthood by implementing interventions that result in positive effects such as socio-emotional skills, prevention of risky behaviors, development of healthy relationships, among others. These services are offered in Harris County, Texas in partnership with community faith-based organizations. You are a Self-starter with a passion for community and serving others. Should be a strategic thinker that has an organization-wide perspective on the work they are responsible for and how that contributes to program goals. Have the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Skilled in event planning, program implementation, coordinating activities, evaluating data, and possessing strong managerial and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business/statistic related field.
  • 3 years of experience working and moderating youth programs, and projects with different community and/or faith-based organizations.
  • Communication, Interpersonal Relations, Working Independently.
  • Project Management, Youth Mentor, Public Relationships, Administration.
  • Community Service, Teamwork, Leadership, Lifelong Learning.
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office, Bilingual (English and Spanish) and different social media platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in youth development programing
  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational management/business administration/public administration and or a minimum of 4 years' experience of position responsibilities and qualifications stated above preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist PuroPREP PLUS Management team staff.
  • Coordinate local team meetings.
  • Cross-trained in the evidence-based curriculum Within My Reach
  • Recognize and solve potential problems and evaluate project/program effectiveness.
  • Managing and monitoring evaluation process and compliance for all partner forms
  • Administer pre/post-surveys for all program participants.
  • Assist with program site visits as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and deliver additional policy and procedure training when necessary.
  • Collect applications, youth assent, parent consent form.
  • Review for compliance, accuracy, and troubleshoot when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance for partner invoices and class forms.
  • Scan and mail partner invoices & class forms to program manager.
  • Team Report: Track the number of participants in completion.
  • Partner Calendar/Class Schedule Database: collect class schedules and maintain US team updated on ongoing classes.
  • Support reporting to ACF.
  • Ensure and monitor the completion of partner goals.
  • Deliver supplies and materials to implementation sites (ability to carry up to 30 lbs.)
  • Conduct regular inventory of supplies/organize and maintain storage facility.
  • Assist with community outreach and collaborations with faith-based organizations, community organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies.
