Project ECHO has an exciting opportunity for a Program Specialist to join the NM Diabetes and Latin America Team! The NM Diabetes & Latin America Team provides program management and strategic support to advance diabetes ECHO programs and the expansion of ECHO into Latin America. As a successful Program Specialist, you will play an active role in: Overseeing and/or coordinating the CDC Diabetes and MCC ECHO programs, which include communicating with various stakeholders, submitting CME accreditation requests, requesting and collaborating with interpretation as needed, and providing iECHO support to participants and staff. Coordinating meetings with grant sub-awardees for the development of the ECHO program curriculum, quality improvement, and training related to the ECHO programs. Supporting the MCC Diabetes ECHO program by tracking attendance during the ECHO session, sending e-mail communications before or after each session, working closely with the Program Manager for gathering data analysis of the program, and uploading referencing documents into the iECHO platform. Planning and implementing new programs with the Program Manager and Medical Director. Troubleshooting problems and finding solutions for participants who struggle with logging into iECHO, finding resources, or have CME-related challenges to ensure a successful ECHO session. Submitting and coordinating CME documentation needed for the sessions. Overseeing the coordination and collection of monthly, quarterly, and final reports for each program. Coordinating with case presenters promptly by creating a list of sites and potential speakers, creating a directory, and calling clinicians as needed for cases. Creating documentation and information to streamline processes for external hub teams and all the NM diabetes programs. Ensuring all ECHO documentation meets Project ECHO branding guidelines. Assembling compiled data into marketing materials to demonstrate the growth of diabetes ECHO programs. Reviewing and creating Spanish language materials as needed. Administering and organizing the program's inbox. Collaborating closely with the Program Manager to identify the specific needs of partner e-mail requests. Providing coordination coverage for other Program Specialists on an emergency basis. Acting as the primary point of contact for the Diabetes/MCC ECHO program sessions. Communicating regularly with key stakeholders to coordinate program needs. Engaging with spokes as needed for communication needs on behalf of Project ECHO or hub teams of DSMES, SDOH, and CHWI programs. Overseeing coordination by attending each of the weekly ECHO programs for DSMES, SDOH, and Endocrinology, and tracking the attendance for each of the priority counties in New Mexico. Coordinating travel logistics for related programs.
