Overview Though 9 in 10 Latino young adults say that a college degree is important for success in life, fewer than 15% ages 25 or older hold a bachelor’s degree. Voices College-Bound Language Academies exists to change that. Voices is a public charter school network with a mission to prepare all students for the challenges of higher education through the context of an academically rigorous dual-immersion program. Every student, regardless of home language, graduates bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish. Summary The Program Specialist serves as a key member of the Special Education team, supporting Education Specialists, school leaders, and related service providers to ensure instructionally effective and legally compliant special education services across the Voices network. This role provides specialized coaching, IEP compliance oversight, program development, data and systems support, and direct district-level guidance to Education Specialists enrolled in credentialing programs. The Program Specialist also serves as an LEA representative for IEP meetings and monitors the quality and compliance of special education service delivery, documentation, and SEIS data.
