About The Position

As a Program Specialist – CLA, you’ll oversee residential sites and support staff while ensuring high-quality care for individuals in the Community Living Arrangement (CLA) program. You’ll play a key role in developing, implementing, and monitoring Individual Support Plans (ISPs), helping individuals achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or at least 60 college credits and a minimum of 4 years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Valid PA Driver’s License and ability to travel between sites
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day
  • Ability to lift light items as needed
  • Ability to travel regularly between program locations

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support residential staff, including training and performance oversight
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
  • Attend ISP meetings and ensure assessments, outcomes, and documentation are completed on time
  • Conduct regular site visits and ensure quality care across all assigned homes
  • Coordinate staff schedules, review time records, and assist with hiring
  • Respond to on-call emergencies and complete required reports and investigations
  • Ensure compliance with 6400 regulations and program policies
  • Collaborate with families, support coordinators, and outside providers
  • Support community-based activities and monitor individual progress
  • Lead staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing development
