About the position

Amentum is seeking a highly qualified Program Security Manager to oversee the protection of classified and unclassified information for the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Operations Directorate. This role involves ensuring compliance with security regulations, managing personnel security clearances, and providing training to safeguard sensitive information. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and possess extensive experience in various security domains.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the USINDOPACOM Special Access Program Security Manager to ensure compliance with security directions and guidance.
  • Assist in implementing improvements to security guidance and regulations.
  • Evaluate current and future requirements for Joint Fires Division SAP facilities.
  • Coordinate construction or modification of the Joint Fires Division SAP facility.
  • Prepare the Joint Fires Division SAP facility for security inspections and staff assistance visits.
  • Manage personnel security clearance information for Division personnel.
  • Provide training to personnel on safeguarding classified information and applying security classification markings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or at least 18 years of documented security experience.
  • At least 10 years of combined experience working in the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related field (security or management of classified programs).
  • Knowledge of national-level agency security processes and requirements.
  • Experience working on projects at multiple classification levels requiring access to a Special Access Program Facility (SAPF).
  • Knowledge of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) standards and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills for training and operational support.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Must have an active Top-Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.

Nice-to-haves

  • At least 2 years of experience working in the USINDOPACOM AOR.
  • SSO certification.
  • Knowledge of USINDOPACOM Headquarters structure and processes.
