About The Position

Join our growing Fitchburg, MA Program Management Office (PMO) as a Program Scheduler. This role works closely with Program Leadership to plan, schedule, and budget contractural requirements for defense programs of varying size and complexity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and related technical training with 5+ years directly related experience (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience).
  • Demonstrated experience with planning and scheduling for large programs; defense experience highly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar software as a planning tool
  • Familiarity with Earned Value or a related business process
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work across all levels of the organization
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish complex program plans and conduct in-depth research to define program requirements
  • Interface with all levels of the customer, vendors and internal departments to coordinate deliverables, budgets and schedules
  • Develop new methods for tracking and reporting program status statistics
  • Assemble and compile schedule data and inputs into the program schedule and provide output to the project manager
  • Advise management of risks that may affect project profit, costs and schedules
