About The Position

At Turion Space, we're on a mission to secure Earth and expand humanity’s reach beyond it. We’re building a fleet of spacecraft to support national security, in-space servicing, and orbital debris removal. As we ramp toward multiple launches and rapid hardware development, we’re looking for a Program Scheduler to bring structure to the chaos and drive alignment across teams and timelines. This is a full-time, exempt role based at our headquarters in Irvine, CA, and will work directly with program management, engineering leadership, and operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or business discipline or 5+ years of work experience in the aerospace, medical, automotive or defense industry.
3+ Years of experience with project planning and program scheduling within a cross-functional team.
Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent tools.
The ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD clearance

Nice To Haves

Highly skilled at taking in large quantities of information and presenting it in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
Able to work and communicate well with others in a team environment.
Able to be diplomatically persuasive or assertive when necessary.
Experience with summary schedule reporting tools such as Microsoft Timeline or equivalent.
Coursework or training in Critical Path Analysis methodology.
Experience performing schedule risk analysis techniques.
Experience analyzing schedules using Industry Standard Health Metrics.
An active DOD Secret or Top Secret clearance

Responsibilities

Own the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across multiple programs and spacecraft development efforts.
Partner with engineering, production, and program leadership to develop and maintain realistic schedules that reflect current program progress and drive accountability.
Facilitate weekly schedule reviews with engineers and functional leads to identify risks, blockers, and critical path items.
Clearly communicate schedule status and changes to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Analyze dependencies across workstreams and surface misalignments early.
Continuously improve how we build and manage schedules - developing tools, templates, and processes as we scale.
Perform schedule risk assessments, generate recovery plans, and apply schedule health metrics to drive execution.
