About The Position

In this role, you will lead the Program Quality teams within the EWC Mission Segment comprising of the Deep Space Exploration, Weather, Commercial, and Nuclear Power Mission Areas. You will support programs including GeoXO, Lightning Mapper (LMX), Dragonfly, DAVINCI, and many others. You will work closely with the Commercial Civil Space (CCS) Mission Success Lead to be responsive and accountable to Mission Segment and program needs, provide independent review, while ensuring process compliance and product quality. You will report to the CCS Mission Assurance Director, working directly with the Mission Area Program Quality leaders, Program Management, Chief Engineering, and program personnel. It is our ultimate responsibility to deliver the capabilities aligned to our customer commitments with compliant processing and exceptional product quality. This position is the “face” of Quality and Mission Assurance for EWC. You will regularly interact with Program Management, the Chief Engineers’ Office, Engineering, Operations, program personnel, and external customer POCs. The ability to juggle engineering development, production support, supplier performance, and hardware nonconformance resolution is critical to success in this role. Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Science or Engineering or any related field from an accredited university
  • Program, Supply Chain, and/or Production Quality experience or anything else related
  • Experience with failure investigations and/ or failure analysis or anything else related
  • Demonstrated understanding of risk identification or mitigation
  • Demonstrated ability to drive closure and resolve technical issues/challenges
  • Demonstrated Speak Up attitude and ability to influence technical leaders and program executives
  • Experience building and/ or leading teams
  • 12+ years of related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Flight hardware/software development and integration experience
  • Masters degree in Engineering or Science preferred
  • Experience across all aspects of the program lifecycle, such as design, development, test, production, and ATLO (Launch Ops)
  • Previous proposal experience
  • Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience
  • Familiarity/prior experience working NASA programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills with teamwork and transparency as a priority, demonstrable written communication and oral presentation skills
  • Familiarity with LM Space Quality products/processes & technologies
  • Experienced with fixed price program execution
