Our Coyote Missile On-site Program Quality Lead (PQL) in Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS), will support U.S. and foreign programs within the Coyote portfolio at our Tucson, AZ location. In this role, you'll drive a robust quality culture, practices, and collaboration efforts. As the primary quality interface for the product Integrated Product Team (IPT), you'll be responsible for ensuring the program meets all Quality & Mission Assurance requirements. This includes coordinating with functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and overseeing scope of work through all integrated product development phases, from design to production and sustainment. You’ll be the customer’s advocate internal to the team, ensuring we meet our obligations and expectations. You will develop and monitor quality metrics to drive proactive continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with integrated teams to enforce process rigor. In the Program Quality role, you will support contract start-up activities, production support and sell-off support. You will primarily engage our factories and suppliers that aid the Coyote portfolio, implement quality processes to reduce overall product lifecycle cost and risk. You will be responsible for ensuring reviews and assessments of program performance are performed, including technical assessments of systems, lessons learned, technology, and programmatic (cost, schedule, and risks and/or defects) practices assuring Quality management System (QMS) processes are defined and implemented. This is an on-site position in Tucson, Arizona .

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience.
Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
Working experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action.
Working experience in providing technical program support for manufacturing and/or design processes.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Experience translating system requirements and contractual requirements to ensure full compliance is flowed down through product, assembly, and test documentation.
Experience applying interpersonal skills and working with customers, suppliers, and in a team environment.
Experience in First Article Inspections per AS9102.
Experience with performance to cost, schedule, and technical performance including Cost Accounting Methodologies (Earned Value).
Experience with one or more of the following: Rockets/Missiles, Electro Optical/RADAR systems, manufacturing of electrical systems and testing, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) requirements, CCA manufacturing to IPC/EIA JSTD-001, Class 3.

Responsibilities

Engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers.
Be the Quality POC for the Coyote launcher or missile products, interfacing across programs, key suppliers and customers supporting technical quality and financial performance, and compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements.
Develop partnerships with senior leaders, IPTs, customers, and quality support functions of the program team to define steps necessary to implement proactive quality strategies that shape Raytheon’s ability to become the provider of choice.
Engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers.
Generation of new CORE (Customer Oriented Result and Excellence), CoPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) projects to reduce costs/increase efficiency of the Stinger program.
Monitor / lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for systemic issues and to ensure extensive RCCA.
Support issue resolutions and solutions to production.
Support implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145, as applicable.
