About The Position

You will be the Program Quality Engineering Manager for our team. What You Will Be Doing As the Program Quality Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Quality and Supplier Quality Engineers to implement and execute quality requirements for LTIAMD. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: -Responsible for all aspects of Quality to support manufacturing with inputs to and from proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and sustainment. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. -Partners with program teams for Quality execution of design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution. -Proficient in company policies. -Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to quality team, including suppliers. -Establishes and manages quality budgets and cost commitments. - Supports the delivery of monthly contractual commitments through problem solving of high-impact quality issues through reviews of technical risk assessments, evaluation of corrective actions, and documentation of customer concerns. - Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans. - Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is STEM or equivalent years of experience
  • Strong understanding of AS9100 and other industry quality standards
  • Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities and provide succinct direction in a dynamic business environment.
  • Experience developing and driving Quality Management strategies resulting in optimal business outcomes.
  • Experience with creating and implementing new processes, while effectively managing change
  • Effective presentation skills and demonstrated ability to develop messages and compelling strategies resulting in cross functional teams implementing and executing innovative solutions.
