Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide leadership for a team of Quality Engineers in support of IRST program. This Program Quality Engineering Associate Manager will have scope in all phases of the IRST program's life cycle: development, production, and sustainment; encompassing multiple MFC manufacturing sites and centers. This Program Quality Engineering Associate Manager will lead a team of direct reports as well as participate and be accountable for multiple Quality roles and responsibilities. Other responsibilities include: Personnel training, mentoring, work assignments, workload allocation, performance assessment inputs and recognition / disciplinary action inputs. Driving process, quality and technical improvements. Drive and facilitate root cause and corrective action (RCCA). Support Proposal / Basis of Estimates (BOE) inputs. Support risk mitigation activities and design/technical reviews. Work with internal cross-functions such as engineering, operations, global supply chain, program management, and planning to support IRST program goals, objectives, and commitments. Analysis of performance data and effectiveness of corrective & preventative actions. Lead, facilitate, and support resolution of critical/complex technical or operational problems. Will assure relevant standards, specifications, procedures, and processes are implemented and are adhered to during program operations.
